Haven Equestrian Outreach

At Haven Equestrian Outreach, we rely on the passion and dedication of volunteers to help us provide the best care for our rescued horses. Volunteering with us is a rewarding experience that allows you to make a tangible difference in the lives of these animals while learning valuable skills along the way.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have a variety of roles available for individuals looking to lend a helping hand. Whether you're an experienced equestrian or new to working with horses, there’s a place for you at Haven Equestrian Outreach!

  • Cleaning/Mucking - Help us maintain a clean and safe environment for our horses. Mucking stalls and cleaning the ranch are essential tasks that ensure the well-being of our equine residents.

  • Grooming - Spend time with our horses while providing them with grooming and care. This activity not only promotes good health but also helps build trust and companionship between you and the horses.

  • Learn to Work with Horses - Gain hands-on experience while learning the fundamentals of horse care and handling. Our experienced team will guide you through essential techniques, helping you build your confidence and skills

  • Exercise Horses - Assist with exercising our horses through groundwork and riding. This is a wonderful way to help them build strength and confidence while also enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

  • Trust Building - Engage in trust-building exercises with our horses. This critical aspect of rehabilitation helps them overcome past trauma and learn to trust humans again.
