Welcome to Haven Equestrian Outreach!
At Haven Equestrian Outreach, we are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of abandoned, abused, and neglected horses. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to provide a safe haven for these magnificent animals and to help them regain their trust in humans.
Located on a serene private ranch in Maple Valley, WA, our facility offers a nurturing environment where horses can heal and thrive. Our team of experienced volunteers and equine specialists work tirelessly to address the physical and emotional needs of each horse that comes through our doors. Through personalized care, training, and rehabilitation, we prepare them for new beginnings in loving forever homes.
We believe that every horse deserves a second chance and a life filled with love and respect. In addition to our rehabilitation efforts, we strive to educate the community about responsible horse ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of compassion towards all living beings.

Our Founder
At Haven Equestrian Outreach, our mission is driven by the passion and expertise of our founder, Freya Drumheller. With over 20 years of hands-on horse training experience, she has dedicated her life to the well-being of horses and the joy of sharing that bond with others.
A proud participant in the FFA, Freya showcased her skills in equine confirmation at the state level, earning recognition for [his/her/their] commitment to excellence. Throughout the years, she has also celebrated numerous achievements in competitive events, including winning several ribbons and tack in Gymkhana, Western Pleasure, and Halter classes.
As a longtime member of 4-H Horse, she developed a deep understanding of equine care and training, which has shaped her approach at Haven Equestrian Outreach. Her experience includes working extensively with mustangs, helping these incredible animals find their forever homes through compassionate training and socialization.
Freya believes that every horse deserves a second chance and that through education and outreach, we can create lasting bonds between horses and humans. Under her leadership, Haven Equestrian Outreach is committed to making a positive impact in our community and beyond.
