Fawn
Mustang - 2 Years Old - Filly
Fawn's journey is one of resilience and healing. When she first came into our care, she was severely malnourished and suffering from dropped fetlocks. Since then, she has made incredible progress, gaining much-needed weight and growing stronger every day. She still has more weight to gain, but we're thrilled with how far she's come.
We also believe Fawn may be pregnant, though that won't be confirmed until she's been evaluated by a veterinarian or as time progresses.
While Fawn is making wonderful strides, she is not yet available for adoption. She remains in rehabilitation and will continue receiving the specialized care she needs. Her recovery includes custom therapeutic shoes for her hind feet, veterinary x-rays, and any additional treatment recommended based on those results. Our goal is to give her every opportunity to heal before she begins the next chapter of her life.

Despite everything she's been through, Fawn has blossomed into a loving and people-oriented mare. She loves to be close to her caregivers and will happily follow you around like your shadow, always hoping for a few extra scratches or a little attention. Grooming is one of her favorite activities, and she's becoming more comfortable lifting her feet for handling—a testament to the trust she's building each day.
We're excited to continue sharing updates as Fawn's rehabilitation progresses. When the time comes and she's ready to find her forever home, we know she'll make an incredibly rewarding partner for a lucky family. Until then, we're focused on helping this sweet girl heal, grow stronger, and become the best version of herself.
